About The Position

The Medical Assistant at the Surgery Clinic plays a crucial role in assisting physicians with patient examinations and treatments. This full-time position involves direct patient interaction, including measuring vital signs, recording patient information, and preparing treatment rooms. The role requires a blend of technical skills and compassionate patient care, contributing to the overall efficiency of the clinic.

Requirements

• High school diploma and completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
• 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
• Interview patients and measure vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height.
• Record information on patients' charts accurately.
• Draw and collect blood samples from patients as required.
• Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Perform a variety of tasks as needed in the clinic.
