• Review charts for accurate billing, familiar with CMS-1500 and electronic claims submissions.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding claims and invoices.
• Initiate and manage collections processes as needed.
• Address billing inquiries and maintain accurate and organized transaction records.
• Proactively resolve billing issues and work with insurance carriers for claim approvals.
• Track trends in claim rejections and recommend solutions to minimize denials.

Requirements

• Medical Billing Certificate (Required).
• Proven experience in medical billing and account collections, preferably in mental health or healthcare settings.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, insurance billing processes, and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational skills, effective communication, and attention to detail.
• Experience with billing software and tools.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
