About the position
The Medical Records Specialist (MRS) at Senior PsychCare is responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance (QA) Team by ensuring accurate documentation and maintenance of medical records. This role involves data entry, reviewing discrepancies across databases, and training others on the electronic medical record system. The position is full-time and requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the error-free documentation process, data entry, and quality assurance.
- Compare data across three databases and review for discrepancies.
- Notify corresponding departments of discrepancies and document them on the non-conformance database for review.
- Accurately organize and maintain files for documents, records, specifications, certificates, labels, and other documents/data.
- Learn the electronic medical record system and train others.
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma; some college desired.
- Strong computer skills - proficient with MS Office applications, Outlook, and Internet.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized and computer literate.
- Ability to prioritize workload, solve problems quickly, and interact with others to achieve efficient, seamless workflow.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced Healthcare office setting.
