About the position
The Music Lesson Instructor position is a part-time role focused on teaching various musical instruments and concepts to students aged 5 and above. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson structure that caters to the diverse needs of students.
- Teach basic/beginner music theory, instrument techniques, and musical skills to students at different skill levels.
- Foster creativity and self-expression through music activities and performances.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Communicate with parents and caregivers of students regarding progress.
Requirements
- Musical ability on instrument of instruction.
- Experience working with children is highly desirable.
- Ability to educate students effectively through engaging instructional methods.
- A passion for music and the ability to inspire students through creative teaching practices.
