Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to accurately plan and carry out assignments without direct supervision.
• Proven history of good judgment, integrity, and consideration for others.
• High level of commitment to compassionate customer service.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident.

Nice To Haves

• One year of direct care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of resident-related direct care duties, such as transporting, transferring, toileting, positioning, feeding, bathing, dressing, and grooming residents.
• Encourage residents to achieve the highest level of independence.
• Validate residents' concerns and respond to their needs.
• Maintain awareness and sensitivity to resident needs, interests, and abilities.
