About the position

Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of resident-related direct care duties, such as transporting, transferring, toileting, positioning, feeding, bathing, dressing, and grooming residents.
- Encourage residents to achieve the highest level of independence.
- Validate residents' concerns and respond to their needs.
- Maintain awareness and sensitivity to resident needs, interests, and abilities.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a Minnesota State approved program in compliance with the Nurse Assistant Training Act.
- Currently registered as a Nursing Assistant / CNA / NAR with the State of Minnesota.
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to accurately plan and carry out assignments without direct supervision.
- Proven history of good judgment, integrity, and consideration for others.
- High level of commitment to compassionate customer service.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident.
