About the position
The Offshore Scaffold Builder is responsible for performing scaffolding job functions required for the fabrication of iron and steel structures, adhering to contract specifications and quality assurance standards. This role involves erecting and dismantling scaffolding to create safe work platforms, ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe manner according to established procedures.
Responsibilities
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding to provide safe work platforms.
- Fit together steel pipe, support braces, and clamps.
- Lift and position scaffolding, bolt pipe, and place planks.
- Use various hand tools as required.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the foreman.
- Ensure all duties are performed in accordance with operating procedures.
Requirements
- 1+ years experience in offshore scaffold building.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- TWIC card.
