About the position

The On Prem to Cloud Sales Specialist at Veeam Software is a strategic role focused on driving customer adoption of the Veeam Data Cloud, particularly transitioning customers from on-premises Microsoft 365 backup to a cloud-native platform. This position involves leading discussions that shape the future of data protection and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful cloud transitions for customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer transformations from on-premises to cloud Microsoft 365 backup across 500 strategic accounts.
• Execute on territory strategy and pipeline development to achieve quarterly revenue targets.
• Collaborate daily with territory AEs and Renewal reps for effective account-level partnering.
• Provide weekly product-specific forecast updates for the territory.
• Prepare and lead value-based customer discussions focused on long-term benefits of SaaS.
• Design and negotiate commercial proposals that align with customer needs.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships across customer organizations.
• Identify priority accounts and opportunities to partner with Solution Engineers.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to improve sales tactics.
• Master competitive positioning, market trends, and pricing strategies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with proven success in cloud/SaaS solutions.
• Track record of success in field sales, with experience in specialist sales models preferred.
• Proven capability in Enterprise software sales and SaaS business models, ideally in data protection or M365.
• Exceptional skills in business case development, commercial negotiations, and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong team player with a coach mentality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
