About The Position

The Operational Technology Communications & Network Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and management of the cooperative's operational communications network. This includes managing advanced operational technologies, ensuring the integrity and security of the OT network, and leading capital improvement projects. The role requires collaboration with various departments to support the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) network and involves supervising a team of engineers and technical staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in data processing, computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• Five years of advanced operational technologies and operations network management experience, with two years in a lead or project manager role.
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification is required.
• Valid State of Florida driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of local and wide area network technologies and concepts.
• Experience with network security protocols and methodologies.
• Familiarity with communications protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of IEEE and ISA standards applicable to process control and SCADA networks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, support, and manage the fiberoptic cable system and other communications mediums of the OT network.
• Consult with other departments on the needs of the SCADA network and assist with its design and support.
• Manage capital improvement projects related to the operational communications network.
• Plan and organize activities related to cyber and physical security of the OT network.
• Direct, supervise, train, and schedule the work of Engineers and other personnel assigned to the section.
• Initiate and carry out studies, reports, and investigations related to company practices and policies.
• Promote and document safety activities in accordance with the Cooperative Safety Manual.
