About the position

The Operations Clerk position at Graphic Solutions Group involves managing warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, and packaging products according to customer specifications. The role is essential in ensuring that products are accurately processed and shipped, contributing to the company's mission of being a leading supplier in the graphics communications industry.

Responsibilities

• Scan product as received and put away according to appropriate bin location.
• Pick and package product according to customer specifications as noted in the RF scanner.
• Verify the correct product and quantity was picked by reviewing the paper order and checking each line picked.
• Review the product for appropriate condition to be sent to the customer and replace any damaged product.
• Pack orders to achieve the minimum box count.
• Verify customer specifications when shipping products.
• Operate a stand-up and sit-down forklift, maintaining certification.
• Use RF Scanner technology when moving products in the warehouse.
• Assist in counter sales as a backup when needed.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of warehouse experience.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience in a customer service environment.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical equations related to the job.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift 50 to 70 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring walking and standing for several periods during the day.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with RF bar-coding/scanning in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift sitting and/or standing experience with certification.
