About The Position

The Applications Analyst is responsible for conducting Business Needs Assessments to develop cost-effective systems capabilities that meet user needs. This role involves engaging in moderately complex challenges, recommending system configurations, and playing a key role throughout the Development Lifecycle, including gathering business requirements, creating use case scenarios, and ensuring the system meets business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-3 years of experience in business analysis in a technical environment
• Experience in Oracle Cloud Financials
• Experience in 2-3 end-to-end implementation projects
• Experience with OTBI, BI, and FRS reporting tools
• Experience in designing and troubleshooting approval workflow processes
• Experience in Advanced Collections process and strategies
• Experience in Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report process areas
• Exposure to OIC (Integration Cloud), ATP, and PaaS is a plus
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong critical thinking and abstract reasoning skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage projects
• Data interpretation skills to support business requirements
• Ability to understand stakeholder needs and provide creative solutions
• Strong decision-making and process management skills
• Ability to evaluate historical trends for predictive insights
• Ability to summarize requirements and connect them to business goals

Responsibilities

• Assist the business in building upon project definitions and vision documents, including scope, risk, and stakeholder identification.
• Plan, coordinate, and create documentation that describes business needs, including Business Requirements and Process Models.
• Gather requirements and analyze existing and proposed solutions for system development or enhancement.
• Engage in dependency analysis, functional design, workflow analysis, and data modeling.
• Participate in testing by supporting test planning and user acceptance testing functions.
• Participate in all aspects of the requirements discipline, including estimating and feasibility analysis.
• Provide support throughout the project lifecycle, including issue resolution and documentation maintenance.
• Maintain and support existing financial processes in Oracle Cloud applications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues within cloud applications and reporting tools.
• Design and develop new solutions and enhancements to existing financial systems.
• Coordinate with business partners to guide them on best practices and contribute to quarterly Oracle patch rollouts.
• Develop test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing.
• Lead discussions with technical resources to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Analyze user-reported issues and provide solutions or code fixes in financial areas.
• Write queries or custom reports to analyze data issues and provide ad-hoc reports.
• Support the month-end close process and ensure timely completion.
