About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Staff Zone is responsible for selling staffing services to commercial construction, industrial, and special event companies. This role is ideal for experienced sales professionals or those looking to start a career in sales, with a focus on building relationships and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in sales, marketing, and business development.
  • Aggressively track sales leads from various sources.
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to visit customers and gain new business.
  • Quote prices and credit terms, and prepare sales forms/customer applications.
  • Strategize and communicate daily with team members.
  • Record customer and prospect contact information in proprietary software and transmit reports to management weekly.
  • Assist with operations at the Branch as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales and/or customer service is a plus.
  • Ability to aggressively close new business.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record (past 3 years).
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.
  • Must be able to adapt to and perform in inclement weather.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
