About the position

The Auto Body Refinish Prepper is responsible for preparing vehicles for refinishing to restore them to pre-accident condition. This role involves surface preparation, vehicle masking, and applying various coatings to ensure a quality paint job. Responsibilities

• Surface preparation, vehicle masking, priming, and top coating.
• Apply all primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats, and clear coats.
• Complete restoration of anti-corrosion treatments, substrate identification, product mixing, and application.
• Evaluate bodywork to ensure a quality paint job will result.

Requirements

• Experience in auto body refinishing and preparation.
• Knowledge of paint application techniques and materials.
• Ability to evaluate and ensure quality in bodywork and paint jobs.
