About the position

The Delivery Driver position at STORsquare involves providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the timely delivery and pickup of storage containers throughout the Central Florida area. The driver serves as the primary point of contact for customers, making it essential to be courteous and responsible. The role includes loading and unloading containers, conducting vehicle inspections, and adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of the vehicle before departing to deliver containers
• Load/unload containers and additional materials per customer's specifications
• Deliver containers to designated locations in a courteous manner
• Contact customers with estimated time of arrival prior to delivery
• Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards
• Take pre- and post-delivery photographs of storage containers to ensure quality container and delivery conditions
• Ask for feedback and resolve customer complaints
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
• Obtain delivery confirmations and signature of lease agreement from customers
• Complete marketing and promotional deliveries
• Assist in assembly, storage, maintenance, and upkeep of containers
• Other duties as assigned to assist in the needs of a growing business

Requirements

• Valid Class D, or comparable Florida Driver License
• Clean Driving Record
• 2+ years' experience driving a commercial vehicle preferred
• Experience with forklift or other powered industrial lift preferred
• Ability to pass company driving test, background check, and drug screening
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Positive and professional attitude
