About the position

The Part Time Framer position at Michaels involves building customer relationships while providing high-quality custom framing solutions. The role requires adherence to company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and delivering excellent customer service. The Framer will work in a retail setting, assisting customers with their framing needs and maintaining the store's merchandise and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Execute Company policies and standards while embracing personal design techniques.
• Build relationships with customers while creating custom framing solutions and delivering sales results.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in finding products.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact positively and respectfully with others, promoting the organization's vision and values.
• Participate in the truck unload and stocking processes to ensure standards are followed.
• Operate the cash register and execute cash handling to standards.
• Acknowledge customers and assist with Omni channel processes.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
