About the position

The Part-Time Leasing Consultant at RangeWater Residential plays a crucial role in executing marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. This position involves direct interaction with prospective residents, conducting property tours, processing applications, and ensuring resident satisfaction throughout their lease term. The Leasing Consultant is also responsible for offsite marketing activities and maintaining the property's appeal and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all sales and leasing activities in person to achieve the property's revenue and occupancy goals.
  • Greet and qualify prospects face-to-face, conduct property tours, and show apartments.
  • Process applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks.
  • Prepare the lease and move-in package, ensuring a smooth resident move-in and lease signing.
  • Complete various accounting, financial, administrative, and other reports as necessary.
  • Design and execute offsite marketing activities to drive traffic to the property.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret market and economic trends that may impact the property.
  • Keep informed of changes in technology, industry standards, leasing, and sales tools.
  • Execute lease enforcement processes including inspections, evictions, and collections.
  • Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize leasing decisions.
  • Execute activities in support of the property's lease renewal program.
  • Respond quickly and courteously to resident and client/owner concerns and questions.
  • Ensure the property and show units meet the Company's standards for show quality.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues.
  • Stay informed about current market and competitor conditions to sustain occupancy.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Preferred experience in Property Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and delivery skills.
  • Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs.
  • Strong proficiency in property management software (preferably Entrata, Yardi, and/or One Site).
  • Current Valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a customer-facing role in property management or sales.
  • Familiarity with local real estate market trends.
