About the position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Assistant to support our family/home. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and maintain a high level of confidentiality in all matters. The role requires a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, event planning, and calendar management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless communication, and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for flexibility in work location while still requiring in-person support as needed. The Personal Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks and responsibilities within the household, making it essential to have a proactive approach and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistant support to family
  • Run errands (grocery shopping, returns, pick ups, dry cleaning/alterations)
  • Manage and maintain complex calendars, including scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and book flights, hotels, and rental cars
  • Book appointments at the home for renovation and various home needs
  • Assist with event planning, including venue selection, catering, and logistics
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Perform other administrative duties as required

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook Calendar and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with event planning and calendar management
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Proficiency in file management and proofreading
  • Experience with DocuSign and electronic document management systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
