About the position

The Pest Control Service Manager at Fox Pest Control is responsible for supervising, training, and evaluating technicians while planning and coordinating company operations. This role emphasizes upholding the company's core values and ensuring outstanding service delivery. The manager will engage in various aspects of the pest control industry, including technical, sales, and operational management, while fostering a positive workplace culture and strong relationships with employees and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate technicians.
  • Plan, coordinate, and initiate company policies and procedures.
  • Manage a multi-level staff, including recruiting, hiring, coaching, and counseling at least 10+ individuals.
  • Effectively delegate responsibility and authority to others.
  • Incorporate Fox Pest Control's core values within the branch.
  • Participate in all aspects of the Pest Control Industry including technical, route, sales, administrative, and operational management.
  • Work closely with branch managers and office personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in leadership.
  • Pest Control or Lawn Care industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of industry standards and state and federal regulations.
  • Previous sales management experience preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service and retention skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent follow-up, organizational, and time management skills including route management.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform a wide variety of duties.
  • Required to obtain a commercial pesticide license.
  • This position is subject to a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check.
