About the position

The Practice Manager at OnPoint Pediatrics is responsible for leading administrative and practice operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining a safe environment for both patients and staff. This role involves continuous improvement of processes, mentoring personnel, and collaborating with the administrative team to achieve the company's business objectives and strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and improve administrative and practice processes continuously.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure operational efficiency and provide support.
  • Communicate effectively with all employees and coordinate monthly staff meetings.
  • Develop staffing schedules and monitor patient flow to optimize operations.
  • Oversee business and financial affairs, including monitoring collections and reports.
  • Manage patient complaints and serve as a liaison with hospitals and vendors.
  • Provide leadership and development for direct reports and team members.
  • Coordinate and attend standard meetings for OnPoint Medical Group.
  • Manage facilities and purchasing activities for the practice.
  • Attend marketing and public relations functions as needed.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-5 years of managerial/supervisory experience with progressive responsibility.
  • Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships with co-workers and health team members.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in family, pediatrics, internal medicine, or healthcare administration.
  • Bilingual skills.
  • Experience with Athenahealth practice management system.
  • B.A. or B.S. in Healthcare or Business Administration.
