About the position

As an Early Childhood Teacher at KinderCare Learning Companies, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of young children by guiding them through critical stages of their development. This position involves implementing KinderCare's Early Foundations® curriculum, fostering a nurturing environment, and encouraging exploration and creativity among children. You will work in a supportive, family-like setting, providing high-quality care and education to promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development.

Responsibilities

• Implement KinderCare's Early Foundations® Curriculum to engage children in age-appropriate activities.
• Build nurturing relationships with children to provide trust, security, and encouragement.
• Encourage exploration and learning by creating a stimulating environment.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom that complies with state regulations and company standards.
• Track and communicate each child's progress to parents and caregivers.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to maintain an inclusive and supportive environment.

Requirements

• Must have completed at least 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units as required by California state regulations.
• Previous experience working with children in a licensed childcare, preschool, or daycare setting is preferred.
• Must meet California's teacher qualification requirements for early childhood educators.
• CPR & First Aid Certification required for child safety.
• Strong understanding of child development and ability to implement appropriate curriculum.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with children, families, and colleagues.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with young children in a licensed childcare setting.
• Additional certifications in early childhood education.
