About the position

The Principal Product Manager at Albertsons will lead the Last Mile Delivery Product team, focusing on enhancing the online grocery shopping experience through innovative fulfillment technology. This role involves defining product vision and strategies, managing product roadmaps, and driving the product lifecycle from conception to launch. The position is pivotal in shaping the future of eCommerce fulfillment and requires a customer-centric approach to improve delivery services and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to pioneer advancements in last mile delivery technology.
  • Reimagine and improve the last mile platform through enhanced routing and batching.
  • Define product vision and strategies for delivery functions, collaborating with third-party partners.
  • Focus on customer needs to drive delivery customer NPS and roadmap initiatives.
  • Manage product roadmaps and align business and technical needs based on customer insights.
  • Drive the product lifecycle from requirement definitions to launch efforts.
  • Write user stories that support project objectives and include clear acceptance criteria.
  • Build collaborative relationships with key partners and communicate product priorities to executive leadership.
  • Conduct industry and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities in last mile delivery.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to product managers and support cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or Business required with 10+ years of experience OR MBA or Masters in Operations Research/Computer Science/Management Science required with 7+ years experience in Product Management, Data Analytics, Machine Learning.
  • Prior experience in Management Consulting is a plus but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
  • Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to identify key unmet needs.
  • Collaborative and influential, capable of working with executives and large teams.
  • Comfortable with big data technologies and analytical insights.
  • Strategic mindset to translate product strategy into detailed specifications.
