About the position
The Product Manager at National Carwash Solutions (NCS) - Chemistry plays a crucial role in leading cross-functional teams to develop and enhance innovative chemical solutions for the car wash industry. This position is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of the NCS - Chemistry product line, focusing on delivering unique value and customer satisfaction while maximizing profit through a multi-channel approach.
Responsibilities
- Leverage NCS Chemistry's consumer brands to create a differentiated brand and product strategy.
- Seek out and listen to Voice of the Customer (VOC) feedback to translate market trends into business opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the new product development process and execution.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop successful program solutions for long-term customers.
- Develop strategies to leverage NCS - Chemistry's competitive advantage and market leadership.
- Manage the product lifecycle process including new product development, financial assessment, and product launch activities.
- Develop a product roadmap guiding technology transformation in the NCS - Chemistry product line.
- Support customer-facing teams in presenting and selling NCS Chemistry Solutions.
- Partner with Marketing to develop sales aids and training for the integrated product solution portfolio.
- Assist with integration activities for acquisitions into the NCS operational structure.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, Chemistry, Operations, Finance, Management or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional product marketing, product management or technical sales experience.
- Experience managing P&L, NPD Process (Stage Gate), and project management is a plus.
- Car Wash industry expertise with a technical understanding of chemical solutions is a plus.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical competency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with Product Roadmap and Project Management software is a plus.
- Exceptional planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams remotely.
- Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnight travel.
