About the position

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of component parts for the final assembly of windows. This role requires working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, performing repetitive tasks, and utilizing various tools and equipment to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• Support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows.
• Use hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers to perform workstation functions.
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions.
• Read and carry out simple written instructions.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Use a tape measure and inspect for product defects.
• Make fraction and decimal conversions.
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.
