About the position

The Production Manager at HF Foods Group Inc. is responsible for overseeing front-line employees to ensure efficiency and quality in production operations. This role involves hiring, training, and evaluating staff, as well as coordinating activities across departments to meet production goals while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Hire and train front-line employees.
• Organize, direct, and oversee the schedules and work of front-line employees.
• Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
• Cooperate with other managers and supervisors to coordinate activities in and among departments.
• Collect, evaluate, analyze, and assess production data.
• Regularly inspect and evaluate products for quality and defects.
• Identify and correct problems and inefficiencies in processes, materials, equipment, or skills.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health.
• Develop and implement procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other departmental managers to develop and execute the budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
