About the position

The Program Coordinator for the Economic Development/Contract Education Department at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District is responsible for a variety of technical, administrative, and programmatic tasks. This role involves coordinating, implementing, and overseeing programs and contracts, while also supporting marketing and sales activities. The position requires strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and excellent customer service skills, as it interacts with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation and delivery of on-site contract education training and services.
• Serve as customer support for clients and summarize evaluations of training programs.
• Develop, maintain, track, and provide follow-up to leads generated from marketing activities.
• Provide inside marketing and sales support, including conducting marketing research and interfacing with vendors and clients.
• Maintain statistics and tracking regarding contract education training delivery and performance.
• Maintain standards for classrooms and computer labs to ensure readiness for training.
• Participate in the development and publication of department marketing collateral.
• Represent the department at meetings and workshops as requested by management.
• Maintain, review, update, and support the content and design of digital media.
• Perform related duties as required.

Requirements

• Equivalent to the completion of an Associate's degree in marketing, sales, business administration, project management, or a closely related field.
• Four years of related work experience that includes providing program support to managers and significant customer service experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in graphic design software.
• Knowledge of project planning and management principles.
• Familiarity with digital media content management.
