The Program Coordinator at Tarzana Treatment Center is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of assigned staff and the operations of internship programs and placements. This role includes overseeing patient activities and ensuring staff responsibilities align with patient functions, while implementing the treatment philosophy of the organization.

  • Supervise assigned staff and manage day-to-day operations of internship programs.
  • Ensure staff and patient safety through oversight of physical plant maintenance functions.
  • Perform regular chart audits and maintain documentation in accordance with TTC policies and external regulations.
  • Develop and submit various reporting requirements, including Continuous Quality Assurance reports.
  • Expand network of referral resources through outreach activities.
  • Attend in-service training and educational workshops, and required staff meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and supervisors regarding patient and staff behavior and progress.
  • Conduct self in a professional manner and serve as a role model for staff and patients.
  • Document services rendered in medical records as appropriate.
  • Participate in performance evaluations of interns and staff as required.
  • Attend clinical and administrative committee meetings and participate in community events.
  • High school diploma or GED required; higher education (Bachelor's or Master's degree) may be required based on contractual obligations.
  • Counselor registration or certification required for providing SUD services.
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in behavioral healthcare services, including chemical dependency.
