About the position

The Provider Enrollment Coordinator at Sante Health System is responsible for managing the enrollment and recertification processes for Medicare, Medi-Cal, and various health plans for clients within the Sant Foundation Medical Group. This role involves collaboration with contracting and credentialing staff to ensure accurate and timely enrollment, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit group and provider enrollment applications for Medicare, Medi-Cal, and other assigned health plan contracts.
• Review provider enrollment applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to inquiries from providers and practice managers regarding enrollment applications.
• Act as a liaison between providers, practice managers, and contracted health plans or government agencies.
• Develop and improve workflow processes in collaboration with management.
• Stay current on credentialing standards and Medicare enrollment guidelines.
• Monitor enrollment submissions to ensure timely responses.
• Maintain confidentiality standards for all records and documentation.
• Communicate regularly with the department manager about updates and potential issues.
• Develop positive working relationships with internal and external personnel, providers, and clients.
• Attend meetings and educational seminars as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of administrative healthcare experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and commercial enrollment processes.
• Familiarity with CAQH.
• Knowledge of hospital and IPA credentialing processes preferred.
