About the position

The Pursuit Lead II role at Google Cloud Consulting focuses on accelerating customer adoption of Google Cloud by developing implementation strategies tailored to customer business use cases. This position involves managing the services business process from lead to delivery, ensuring operational excellence, and collaborating with various teams to capture customer requirements and develop effective strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of implementation strategies for Google Cloud customers.
• Manage the services business process from lead stage through delivery stage.
• Drive operational excellence during the solutioning process with forecast management and scoping documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Engineers to capture customer use cases and requirements.
• Act as the services point of contact for the Sales team.
• Manage regional and industry business relationships with internal teams.
• Develop proactive services business strategies based on regional needs.
• Collaborate with Professional Service Organization (PSO) Consultants to determine project goals and define success criteria.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in customer-facing roles, including interfacing with executive stakeholders and managing IT technical implementations.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers in Cloud Professional Services organizations, IT consulting, or program management organizations.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a management, technical, or engineering field.
• Experience in value consulting, proposal development, and execution with public cloud providers like Google Cloud.
• Experience collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-parties to deliver and manage implementation of solutions.
• Knowledge in IT operations, database systems, networking, IT security, application development, service architecture, cloud-native application development, hosted services, storage systems, or cyber security.
