About the position
Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a QA professional specializing in Point of Sale (POS) Testing to join their Quality Assurance team. This permanent role focuses on ensuring the quality and functionality of POS systems, particularly Oracle Xstore, within an agile framework. The position is based in Marlborough, MA, and requires a strong background in testing methodologies and defect management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Point of Sale testing with a focus on Oracle Xstore.
- Perform downstream testing through to mainframe systems.
- Validate logs and bank logs as part of the testing process.
- Utilize JIRA and Zephyr for defect logging and test management.
- Work as an individual contributor while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Point of Sale testing.
- Familiarity with agile frameworks, particularly SAFE.
- Experience with test creation, execution, and defect logging.
- Proficiency in using JIRA and Zephyr for test management.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
