About the position
The RDC/LDC Distribution Associate II is responsible for performing manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products. This role is essential in ensuring that goods are received, verified, and shipped according to established procedures, contributing to the overall efficiency of the distribution process.
Responsibilities
- Receives goods and verifies items against the record of shipment.
- Inspects the condition of received items.
- Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications.
- Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
- Routes materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
- Completes written and computerized documentation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year of related experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Forklift certification.
