About the position

The Receptionist/Office Assistant role at Redman Van & Storage is designed for a customer-oriented individual who excels in multitasking and providing excellent customer service. The position involves managing incoming and outgoing calls, greeting visitors, and performing various office duties such as filing and data entry, all aimed at maintaining high customer satisfaction and efficient office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming calls as well as some outgoing calls
  • Greet any customers or visitors that come into the office
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Entering data with accuracy

Requirements

  • Customer support experience or experience as a client service representative and/or receptionist
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Basic office skills that include but are not limited to computer, email, fax, scanning, filing, etc.
