About the position

The Rehabilitation Services Aide plays a crucial role in supporting therapists and ensuring a smooth operation within the therapy department. This position involves preparing patients for treatment, assisting therapists during therapy sessions, and maintaining a clean and organized working environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for treatment by therapist.
• Assists therapists during therapy.
• Transports patients to and from the department using stretcher or wheelchair.
• Maintains equipment and working area in clean, orderly condition.
• Assists professional staff in ordering supplies and maintains linen closet.
• Places patients in position for treatment and assists in transfers.
• Assembles and places equipment and supplies for use.
• Performs a variety of duties essential to the function of the department such as taking messages and entering information into the computer.
• Transports equipment and supplies.
• Assists in workshops, as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience required.

Benefits

• Per diem pay structure at $17 an hour.
