About the position

The Resident Services Coordinator at Project Access plays a crucial role in enhancing community life for residents of affordable housing. This position involves designing and implementing programs that empower residents, foster connections, and address community needs. The coordinator serves as a vital link between residents and available services, driving positive outcomes through innovative initiatives across various domains such as economic stability, education, health, and community building.

Responsibilities

  • Implement core programs and services to connect, engage, and empower residents across four initiatives: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.
  • Coordinate and oversee an after-school program and teen program, including homework assistance and educational enrichment activities.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local service providers.
  • Plan and facilitate community-building events to foster safe and meaningful relationships among community members.
  • Provide residents with information and referrals to access community resources and services.
  • Publish monthly newsletters and calendars of events.
  • Collect and submit program outcomes data.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Vietnamese required.
  • Two years of experience in multi-family housing or related fields such as social services or community outreach; or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year experience in after-school programs or educational settings for youth.
  • Minimum of one year experience serving diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competency and community awareness.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook).
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Salesforce, and Concur.
  • Strong time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter, multi-tasker, and strong communicator.
