About the position

The Resident Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing resident engagement and ensuring smooth communication between residents, property managers, and the company. This position involves managing incoming calls, assisting with maintenance requests, coordinating move-in and move-out processes, and promoting high-quality service to residents and owners.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a high level of customer service and communication with residents and owners.
  • Answer all incoming calls to the company in a timely manner, ensuring customer service is prioritized.
  • Provide high-quality support to property managers regarding resident inquiries and maintenance requests.
  • Initiate and coordinate all processes for move-ins and move-outs, ensuring timely communication with residents and portfolio managers.
  • Follow established processes for NSF and collection procedures, ensuring timely communication and fee applications.
  • Conduct leasing duties as time allows, including following up on leads and promoting available units.
  • Ensure accurate and timely acquisition of all funds related to leasing, including fees and deposits.
  • Utilize various software tools to manage and track operations effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal fair housing laws.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service position, preferably in property management.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of local housing provisions and federal fair housing laws.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software used in leasing and property management.
  • Ability to read and comprehend resident lease ledgers and agreements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in single-family and multi-family property management environments.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in group problem-solving situations.
  • Strong attention to detail.
