About the position

The Residential Aide at Coley House is responsible for providing direct client care in a short-term residential substance abuse treatment program specifically designed for pregnant women and women with children. This role involves delivering quality services in both individual and group settings, focusing on educational skills to enhance clients' knowledge and quality of life in recovery. The position requires effective responses to the needs of clients and collaboration with co-workers to ensure safe facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care for women in a substance abuse treatment program.
• Deliver educational skills to enhance clients' knowledge and awareness in recovery.
• Respond effectively to meet the needs of clients and co-workers.
• Ensure safe facility operations and support community members and funders.
• Work as part of a care team to provide comprehensive substance use treatment services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent
• Valid Connecticut Drivers License
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
