About the position

The Retail Art Assistant position is a part-time role focused on providing excellent customer service in a creative environment. Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to walk-in customers.
• Assist the Art Instructor during classes.
• Handle cashiering and point-of-sale transactions.
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
• Draw templates on canvas for customers.
• Help customers with basic art techniques.
• Wash brushes and maintain cleanliness of the studio.
• Perform opening and closing duties as required per shift.
• Complete other art-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Interest in fine art and acrylic painting.
