About the position

The Revit Drafter position is a temp-to-hire role focused on producing construction documents under the supervision of a Project Manager. The role requires proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard software, with responsibilities varying based on the level of experience (Associate II or III). The position offers a collaborative environment where drafters will work closely with staff and consultants, providing technical guidance to less experienced associates.

Responsibilities

• Perform research related to building and zoning codes and varied building systems.
• Produce all aspects of construction documents under the supervision of a Project Manager.
• Create meeting minutes, drawings, and interpret redlines and markups.
• Participate in construction administration tasks.
• Collaborate with staff and coordinate with consultants.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced associates.

Requirements

• Professional degree in an accredited program is required.
• Intermediate knowledge of industry standard programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft suite is required for Associate II.
• Advanced knowledge of industry standard programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft suite is required for Associate III.
• Intermediate knowledge of building and zoning codes for Associate II.
• Advanced knowledge of building and zoning codes for Associate III.
• 6+ years of experience for Associate II.
• 8+ years of experience for Associate III.
