About the position
We are seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team at a highly reputable hospital in Banning, CA. The role involves working 12-hour shifts with overtime pay after 8 hours, and it is available on a contract or per-diem basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients during labor and delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
- Assist in the delivery process and provide immediate care to newborns.
- Educate patients and families about the labor and delivery process.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of RN experience within a hospital, specifically in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current RN License in the state of California.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is preferred but not mandatory.
