Responsibilities
- Check refrigeration units under actual operation against performance requirements.
- Read and understand Operational Method sheets (OMS) job instructions.
- Set refrigeration units for operation and operate unit until stabilized, troubleshooting when problems arise.
- Set up testing equipment as necessary and perform predetermined checks such as compressor performance and pressure cut outs.
- Check and test component parts and subassemblies per OMS specifications using hand tools and computer systems.
- Complete required reports and tags, such as rejection tags and check off lists, and report abnormal quality conditions.
Requirements
- 3-6 months of inspecting production or machine operator experience minimum.
- Basic computer skills.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Vision corrected to 20/20.
