About the position

The Sales and Marketing Manager at Fabrika is responsible for driving sales, marketing, and promotional efforts to enhance the venue's visibility and revenue. This role requires a creative individual with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in entertainment and nightlife, to develop strategies that attract customers and ensure exceptional service. The manager will report directly to the owners and play a crucial role in achieving the company's growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase Fabrika's visibility and reach.
  • Create and distribute all promotional materials and manage online advertisements.
  • Utilize social media platforms to promote events and engage with existing and potential customers.
  • Collaborate with local influencers to expand Fabrika's reach.
  • Maintain a strong online presence through Fabrika's website and social media accounts.
  • Target Independent Party, Event, Wedding and Corporate Planners.
  • Target convention and hotel conferences, capitalizing on ways to attract and sell to each.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive event bookings and revenue growth.
  • Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee the end-to-end event planning process in collaboration with Fabrika's Event Manager.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, Hotels, Casino's, event organizers and influencers to cross-promote events and attract a broader audience.
  • Attend industry events and parties to stay updated on current trends and potential collaborations.
  • Implement strategies to maximize ticket sales and revenue.
  • Track attendance and sales data to measure the success of promotional efforts.
  • Maintain Fabrika's welcoming and inclusive atmosphere and grow repeat business.
  • Enhance attention to customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Address and promptly resolve any customer concerns.
  • Collaborate with Fabrika's management and staff to ensure smooth operations during events.
  • Coordinate with security personnel to maintain a safe and secure environment for patrons.
  • Manage a promotional budget allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Keep track of expenses and revenue to maintain profitability.
  • Stay flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances including last-minute changes to events or promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with State and local laws and regulations related to alcohol service, age restrictions, and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Extensive sales experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Highly creative and skilled at building relationships within the entertainment and nightlife industry.
  • Proven track record of growing revenue and filling venue seats.
  • Deep understanding of the target audience and adept at creating excitement around events to drive attendance.
  • Proficient in the use of CRM software, Salesforce or similar, and social media and website analytics.
