About the position

The Sales Executive - Mid Market role at Paychex focuses on selling the company's products and services by developing new client relationships and expanding the existing client base. The position aims to increase profits within the Core Sales, Human Resource Services Sales, or Major Market Sales organizations by effectively identifying customer needs and presenting tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customers' needs and present the Paychex solution to key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Schedule appointments and visit potential and current referral sources to secure referrals to end users.
  • Prospect for new clients and referral sources using various methods such as telephone, direct mail, seminars, and local marketing programs.
  • Analyze customer needs and interests to determine appropriate products and refer to the appropriate party when necessary.
  • Complete and submit accurate new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports by agreed-upon deadlines.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems or complaints.
  • Project a positive image in representing the Corporation to clients and the community.
  • Travel outside of geographical territory for conferences, training sessions, and area zone meetings as required.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 2 years of relevant sales/marketing experience
  • Driver's License Required
