About the position

The Sales Representative for Windows at The Cook & Boardman Group, LLC is responsible for collaborating with owners, general contractors, and architects to assist in project development related to commercial windows, aluminum storefronts, and curtainwall products. This role involves managing marketing plans, following up on quoted projects, developing project budgets, and bidding on new construction projects based on construction documents.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with owners, general contractors, and architects to assist in project development.
  • Manage a marketing plan for commercial windows, aluminum storefront, and curtainwall products.
  • Follow up on quoted projects and new opportunities.
  • Develop project budgets including detailed estimates and written proposals.
  • Bid on new construction projects, both private and public, from construction documents.
  • Perform other relative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Current and valid US driver's license preferred.
  • At least 0 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to understand and utilize architectural/engineering drawings, contracts, and specification documents.
  • Extensive knowledge of the commercial window industry including materials and methods, product knowledge, field installation, and application experience.
  • Knowledge of building construction, materials, and market conditions is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative work style.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in project management or field supervision is desirable.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with a competitive salary of $70,000 a year.
