About the position

The Sales Technician at Bravo North America is responsible for managing client relationships, providing technical sales support, and promoting the company's high-tech machinery for gelato, ice cream, and confectionery production. This role involves conducting technical demonstrations, training customers, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Provide technical and commercial advice on Bravo's products and solutions.
  • Conduct technical demonstrations of Bravo's products.
  • Attend trade shows, events, and customer visits to promote the company's products.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide efficient solutions to customers.
  • Deliver technical and commercial presentations to various audiences.
  • Train distributors or resellers and key customers to ensure proper knowledge and optimal use of Bravo products.
  • Certify Technical Service companies to build Bravo's technical service network around the country.
  • Assist in increasing the sales of spare parts and services for the company in the United States.
  • Identify business opportunities and propose strategies to boost spare parts and service sales.
  • Provide ongoing support to the operational base in Charlotte, NC.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction at local and national levels.
  • Provide support on answering customer requests, packaging and shipping the needed spare parts from the office in Charlotte.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and the technical department in Italy to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in periodic meetings and training sessions, either in person or virtually with the GM in Charlotte.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in engineering or Mechanical Technical Diploma, HVAC/R, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably in the food machinery industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of machinery and processes for ice cream and confectionery production or related machines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian or any other language is a plus.
  • Availability to travel frequently within the U.S. and Canada.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Residence in Charlotte, NC, or availability to work remotely with frequent travel to Charlotte.
