About the position

The Salesforce Service Cloud Functional Consultant at Accenture plays a crucial role in analyzing client requirements and crafting tailored solutions using the Salesforce platform. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery of quality work. The consultant will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop strategic visions for projects, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to analyze their work practices and understand the nature of their businesses to accurately define needs and customize marketing solutions using the Force.com platform.
  • Own the development of a strategic vision for projects, including product development and improvements, while ensuring adoption.
  • Make recommendations based on analysis, estimate work effort, lead project scoping, determine required resources, set schedules, and build communication and governance plans.
  • Maintain effective client relations and rapport, delivering timely and relevant information with a focus on stakeholder and project impact.
  • Document Service Cloud data modeling and architecture, including data extension modeling and cross-product data architecture & mapping.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting Salesforce Service Cloud clients.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • A minimum of 2 years of functional experience on the Salesforce.com platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).
  • If Associates Degree, must have minimum 6 years' work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experienced with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and/or Interaction Studio.
  • Knowledgeable in both functional and technical aspects of a CRM or Digital Marketing engagement.
  • Demonstrate superb communication and presentation skills.
  • Possess a combination of business analysis and technology implementation experience.
  • Adaptable to a multifaceted work environment and be creative within a team.
  • Salesforce certified (Marketing Cloud Email Studio Specialist, Admin).
  • Experienced in working with SQL, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Understand the basics of integrations, single sign-on, security, etc. (MuleSoft, Informatica, other ETL tools a huge plus).
  • Demonstrable experience in technology implementation full lifecycle/enterprise software projects.
