About the position
The School Psychologist position is a full-time contracted role for the 2023-2024 school year, located near Lake Stevens, Washington. The primary focus of this role is to evaluate and support students' emotional, academic, and social well-being through counseling and collaboration with educators and parents. The psychologist will also develop programs aimed at preventing bullying and promoting mental health.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and support students' emotional, academic, and social well-being.
- Provide individual and group counseling services.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote effective learning and support student success.
- Assist in crisis situations and deal with student emergencies or traumatic events.
- Develop and implement programs aimed at preventing bullying, substance abuse, suicide prevention, and mental health promotion.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ years of school psychologist experience required.
- Up-to-date licensing in the relevant field.
