About the position

The Seasonal Shipping and Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory flow in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and supporting warehouse operations. This role involves training on forklift operation, implementing inventory control practices, and assisting with various tasks to maintain efficiency in the shipping and warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Pull inventory based on locations on work tickets for items to be produced or shipped.
• Maintain inventory within the warehouse and ERP system.
• Complete training to operate a forklift safely.
• Cycle count material to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Assist with standardizing warehouse operations to achieve +95% inventory accuracy levels.
• Ensure all product is flowing in and out of the warehouse and on shipping lines.
• Pick and move inventory through the facility safely and efficiently.
• Read and understand work tickets.
• Report inventory discrepancies and assist Senior Warehouse Coordinator on reconciliation plans.
• Work on additional tasks/projects and support in other departments when assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in implementing inventory control practices within a facility.
• Understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles to promote process improvement.
• General knowledge of cost-effective inventory principles.
• Experience utilizing ERP systems, preferably Oracle environments.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Forklift operations experience is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
