About the position

We are looking for a professional and diligent Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises in the Brickell area. The role involves regular monitoring and patrolling of the area, enforcing company policies, and responding to emergencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Regularly patrol and monitor the premises to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations to ensure safety and compliance.
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents.
• Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches or incidents and document findings accurately.
• Operate and monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to identify suspicious activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting visitors, employees, and clients as needed.
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure coordinated efforts in maintaining security.

Requirements

• Valid security license or certification.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of loss prevention tactics and conflict resolution strategies.
• Proficiency in using CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.
• Ability to stay composed and act decisively in high-pressure or emergency situations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
