About the position
Cimplifi, a national plaintiff's litigation firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney for a temporary hybrid contract assignment in their Cleveland office. The role is expected to begin in mid-January 2025 and will last for 2-3 weeks, offering a pay rate of $45 per hour. The position involves a mix of on-site and remote work, requiring strong expertise in plaintiff's litigation, particularly in drafting documents for Delaware courts.
Responsibilities
- Draft Complaints and other legal documents for filing in Delaware courts
- Collaborate with paralegal teams and supervisory partners in the execution of litigation documents and strategy
- Conduct thorough legal research as needed
- Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs
Requirements
- Active license to practice law in Ohio
- Minimum of 2 years experience in litigation
- Experience drafting pleadings in Delaware state courts, preferred
- Experience with Plaintiffs litigation is preferred
- Strong legal research skills and proficiency in using Lexis-Nexis or similar tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
