About the position

The Service Technician at Frazer, LTD is responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance and repair of emergency medical vehicles. This role requires a dedicated individual who can work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet service department goals. The technician will utilize their skills to provide excellent customer service, maintain safety standards, and contribute to a positive work environment while adhering to Frazer's core values.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair 12 volt and 120 volt electrical systems and their components.
• Read prints, sketches, or plans for information regarding materials and dimensions.
• Assemble and fit components together using various tools and fastening techniques.
• Install insulation, flooring material, trim pieces, and other miscellaneous items related to vehicle modules.
• Clean, detail, and ensure the finished look of the work area.
• Use solvents, cleaners, and adhesives safely and effectively.
• Perform small engine troubleshooting and repair as needed.
• Follow safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year prior automotive experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Must pass a post-offer drug screen.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with R-22 systems for air conditioning mechanics.
• Familiarity with Google G-Suite and ERP systems.
