About the position

The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) position at DOCS Medical Group's Specialty Sleep Division involves diagnosing and treating sleep disorders to enhance patients' health and well-being. Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality sleep studies (both in-lab and home studies), including monitoring, scoring, and troubleshooting polysomnographic equipment.
• Work directly with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure a comfortable testing environment.
• Analyze and prepare detailed reports of sleep study results for interpretation by the physician.
• Ensure all diagnostic equipment is calibrated, maintained, and prepared for use.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including sleep specialists, to provide a seamless patient care experience.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and documentation requirements to maintain high-quality standards of care.

Requirements

• Current RPSGT certification.
• Strong understanding of sleep study protocols and scoring guidelines.
• Proficiency in using polysomnographic equipment and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and handle tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• 1+ years of experience in a sleep lab or similar clinical setting.
• Familiarity with home sleep testing (HST) devices and processes.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
