The Social Services Worker I - Case Aide position at Champaign County Department of Job & Family Services involves providing essential support in various social services activities. Responsibilities

  • Provide transportation for clients as needed.
  • Supervise and monitor parent/child visitations.
  • Complete relative search functions and genograms.
  • Conduct file mining and send correspondence to relatives.
  • Search for out-of-home care providers for youth.
  • Attend meetings related to social services programs.
  • Determine eligibility for programs within the social services department.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed for the social services department.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent technical training in behavioral science, social science, early childhood development, education, or a related field.
  • Two years of relevant experience or completion of undergraduate major core coursework in a related field.
